If you haven’t yet attended EDAF, you’re in for a treat! Founded half a year ago by the CEO and co-founder of V-Art, EDAF is the first pan-European art fair. While USA and Asia host many similar events, Europe is largely underrepresented.
Luminous Bodies
In a bid to create a more inclusive and diverse world, the Luminous Bodies exhibition brings together artists from all backgrounds, including artists with disabilities. The art in this exhibit aims to promote the representation of bodies in all forms and to challenge our conceptions of Otherness.
Immersive Zone
The immersive art zone at the European digital art fair on EDAF features the latest in emerging technology, including an elevator to the clouds. It is Europe’s largest indoor LED screen and features LED waves and underwater sounds, thousands of fish, and a virtual elevator to space. Immerse yourself in art and experience it in a new way in the Immersive Zone. Here, visitors can discover the future of art and technology.
Prestige Zone
The new theme for the Digital Art Fair 2022 is Rhapsody of Arts, a collision of spontaneity, emotions, moods, colors and interplay. The event also presents curated and highly-curated art exhibitions in the Prestige Zone. The Rhapsody of Arts section is sure to enchant art enthusiasts. A curated space devoted to contemporary art is a rarity and will feature a variety of works from emerging artists to established names in the world of contemporary art.
The new art fair in the Prestige Zone will feature an incredibly diverse selection of work. It will feature work by both local and international artists, and the majority of the contemporary art shows will feature work from homegrown artists with the greatest potential for sale. It is divided into five zones: the Prestige Zone, Immersive Zone, Pioneer Zone and the New Media Zone. Virtual Reality art experiences will also be featured in the Prestige Zone, which is one of the most exciting areas of the show.
Exhibitors
The European Digital Art Fair is a pan-European digital art fair that bridges the gap between the physical and digital worlds. This event accepts applications from artists from 43 countries across Europe. Applicants must have a digital or digitalized artwork that can be up to 10 MB in size. The digital artwork can be in the form of images, videos, or audio files. The artwork must be free from hateful or defamatory content, and artists must speak fluently in their native language.
In addition, the fair also welcomes international and local exhibitors. The event is held in a small town, which adds to the uniqueness of the event. The town is not blighted by the massive crowds that flock to New York and London for art fairs. It celebrates the spirit of art, while attracting the attention of the art world.
