Magnificent sunrises and sunsets, the solitude and the I always wondered how to climb Aconcagua, and for our vacations in Argentina, we booked the trekking tour to Confluencia and Plaza de Mulas for eight days. Aconcagua gave us magnificent sunrises and sunsets; the solitude and the impressive mountainous landscape around the base camp created a Romantic atmosphere. We crown the end of the walk with the summit of Cerro Bonete. On Cerro Aconcagua, we maintained a harmonious relationship with our guides, campers, and personnel willing to collaborate with us. There was never any reason for dissatisfaction. We hope to return to Aconcagua and walk in this impressive landscape of the Cordillera. After the great walk, we headed back to our city, from where we started the ascent of the Chachani 6008 m. We tried the Ampato, but the cold and fatigue forced us to back down. We especially have to thank the guides from the beginning. They took care of all the team’s return transportation. I had an amazing trip, thanks to my expedition companions! I was delighted with the planning and communication before the trip. Having references from Aconcagua helped me figure out where I wanted to visit and what I wanted to climb. They were well-executed, and my guides were highly competent and friendly professionals. I was fortunate and managed my food allergies and pair up with English speaking guides, which were two of my big concerns when starting the trip. All of this allowed me to relax and enjoy the trekking and climbing, and they were 14 of the best days of my life! We were lucky; the day we left, it was just us; the beauty of the Cordillera and the campsites were for our eyes only. One of the expedition members provided us with information on flora and fauna, history and mountaineering. The Aconcagua hike offered us some wonderful views, but of course, we had to “pay” for them the effort necessary to climb about 5000m. At three in the morning, we left the camp; the rocks were covered with frost. When we reached the summit, a fierce wind blew that made us go after taking the mandatory photos. The views from afar were beautiful. We want to share images of our expedition to Aconcagua.
