In Bangladesh, only girls’ travel teams are being created through communication on Facebook lately.
As one of the Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, 27 such groups have found, only girls.
They are getting to know each other on Facebook, and together they are going to visit different tourist destinations in the country. They are organizing everything themselves.

One such group is called Travelers of Bangladesh Travel Daughter. An initiative of two trainee physician girlfriends.
But there have been friendships with many more through social media. So far, they have organized tours to 26 tourist centers in Bangladesh.

Sakia Haque is one of the daughters of this trip.
“My girlfriend Mansi and I opened the group because we wanted the girls to be motivated to travel,” she said.
Sakia and a few girlfriends have toured 20 districts of Bangladesh on a scooter. The number of travel girl members on Facebook is now 16 thousand.
