    What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about electric cars? Batteries? Yes, batteries are an essential part of an electric car – these cars run solely on their batteries.

    Electric Vehicle batteries are used in these cars, and to make them safe, easy to assemble, and efficient, an EVB tape is used. In recent times various improvements have been made to electric vehicle batteries. This has been done with the help of adhesives.

    These improvements were made because the manufacturers of these batteries were seen facing some major issues.

    Various adhesives are used, such as BLU adhesive. However, most people fail to understand how these adhesives have improved electric batteries.

    They help improve the battery range

    What is the main thing that you would want in a battery? It definitely will be its long working hours; adhesives can make the batteries run for more extended periods.

    Adhesives, as compared to the traditional battery life fasteners, are lightweight. Thus, in addition to increasing the battery life, they help reduce the weight of the vehicle. As you use adhesives in batteries, the battery becomes stiff and strong. Thus, the other materials used in the battery can be of lighter weight as well.

    If the battery is lightweight, the car will automatically feel light. Believe it or not, the weight of the battery matters a lot!

    It increases battery protection

    You always have to protect your batteries from external things such as water, dust, automotive fluids, etc. If these elements get hold of your battery, it can break down much earlier than expected, and you will have to spend a lot of money to get it replaced.

    Adhesives have the strength to protect batteries from any such things. Furthermore, they can also help protect your electric vehicle batteries from any kind of mechanical shock and vibrations.

    All of this combined helps increase the life span of your battery and makes it more durable.

    It increases the security of the battery

    Batteries can be dangerous if they get overheated, etc. These batteries can burst or can cause fires due to many reasons. If this was to happen in your car, you would be at great risk.

    However, adhesives can act as thermal conductors and insulators – according to the controlled temperature. Therefore, they can prevent the batteries from bursting or causing fires if they overheat.
